TO EXTEND eCRM STRATEGY ACROSS THE ENTERPRISE
Enables Major Clients to Leverage Email Marketing Efforts Across Multiple
Business Units and Product Lines
PALO ALTO, Calif. (October 9, 2000) Today, ClickAction Inc. (Nasdaq:
CLAC),
a leader in permission-based email marketing/e-messaging, announced the formation
of a professional services team that will assist clients with the deployment
of best-of-breed e-marketing/e-messaging solutions based on the ClickAction
Email Relationship Management (ERM) product line.
"As our customers increasingly adopt e-business technologies to automate
marketing, fulfillment, customer service, planning and cross-touch point customer
relationship management, the demand to have these technologies integrated
across the enterprise is soaring," said George Grant, senior vice president
of marketing at ClickAction.
To service this demand, ClickAction has assembled a multidisciplinary team
with extensive experience in business analysis, project management, operations
and customer service, systems design, software engineering and enterprise
application integration.
"Our intent is to provide our clients with a full-service, total solution
featuring ClickAction products and services that are seamlessly integrated
into their existing e-business architectures," said Andrew L. Caso, newly
appointed vice president of professional services. "We utilize an established

delivery of benefits with less risk."
ClickActions professional services team has recently initiated engagements
with a number of major clients to assist them with developing marketing automation
solutions that take advantage of enhancements to the ERM database that permit
the use of customized demographic information. "By helping clients establish
a common data framework and to integrate a wide range of corporate data into
ERM, we have been able to provide our clients with more powerful segmentation
capabilities and as well as improved capabilities to manage e-marketing activities
across business units and product lines. These solutions enhance our clients
ability to manage customer relationships and to achieve higher returns on
their email marketing investment," according to Caso.
